Hi! I’m Molly, a beautiful 1 1/2 year old red and white basset girl, and I am looking for my forever family.
I am a silly, busy, fun-loving girl. I absolutely love getting attention from my people. I enjoy playing with toys and going for long walks and hikes.
I have been working on obedience training and trying to overcome some resource guarding issues, and I need to have a family that would follow my current training plan and also continue on with additional training.
While I have been doing well at doggy daycare, where they have luckily been willing to work with my behavior plan, I absolutely need to be in a home with NO other dogs. And because I don’t really understand that infants and small children aren’t other pups and therefore competition, I need to be in a home where there are no little ones. Dog-savvy teens would be okay, though. In my foster home, I do bark at the cats and do a little chasing, but I will stop when redirected. So cats aren’t a deal breaker, but they should be all grown up, not kittens.
Are you an active family that would be committed to my ongoing obedience training as well as being committed to giving me the love and attention I need and deserve? If so, please fill out an adoption application and mention me — MOLLY!
