Hi there! We’re a gorgeous bonded pair named June and Johnny! June is a white and brown female, and Johnny is a brown, black and white male, both 2 years old and looking for a forever home!
Our foster mom describes me, June, as just the sweetest soul that loves people and my doggy friends. I get along with everyone I meet, but I can allow myself to get pushed around a bit if there are other dogs that aren’t very nice to me. My foster mom feeds me in my crate because otherwise I’d just let others steal my food from me. I am just one very easygoing and loving girl!
My brother Johnny is also a sweet and playful boy that loves to be close to our people. He’s very attentive and happy, and he does try to be a good boy. Johnny isn’t quite as easygoing as I am when it comes to other male dogs, especially around food and toys. My foster mom says I get a little snarky with other males and can make a lot of noise. No major scuffles, though, so he may do okay with just some close supervision while he figures things out if there are other male dogs in the home.
Johnny does chase cats and barks at them, but our foster mom doesn’t think he’d actually hurt a cat. He’d just annoy or scare them.
We have both been working on training, and we both know some basic commands like come, sit, stay, et cetera. I’m good with my housebreaking, and Johnny is oh, about 75% of the way there with his.
We are looking for a forever family who will keep us together and who will be patient with us and love us unconditionally, like we will love them unconditionally, too. Could that be you? If you think you might be a good match for us, please fill out an adoption application and mention us — June and Johnny!
