Hi! My name is Hobbes, and I’m a 3 year old tri-colored basset boy who is looking for my forever home!
I am described by my foster mom as a “sweet and playful 3 year old puppy.” I love running around a yard, playing ball, and hiding and then finding bones! I also have a cuddly side and love a good belly rub! I would do best in a home with a fenced yard where I can run and explore.
I have come a long way with learning manners and with my house training, but I am still a work in progress. I will need a family who is willing to help me continue my training and take me to obedience classes. I’m also doing well with crate training and would do best with a family willing to get me a crate of my own and help me continue down my path of success with it.
I am a very friendly boy who loves to play. Sometimes my excitement overcomes me, and I get jumpy and mouthy. It’s all in play, but it would be best for me if any children in the home would know not to play too rough with me and maybe avoid things like tug of war and chasing games.
Do you think that you could be the family for me? If so, please fill out an adoption application and mention my name — Hobbes!
